Body Temperature Conversion

Temperatures are normally measured on the Fahrenheit scale in the U.S., but the rest of the world generally uses the metric system, which uses the Celsius scale to measure temperature. During your studies you may need to convert from Fahrenheit to Celsius or from Celsius to Fahrenheit. How is that done?

To convert Fahrenheit temperatures into Celsius:
1. Begin by subtracting 32 from the Fahrenheit number.
2. Divide the answer by 9.
3. Then multiply that answer by 5.

To convert Celsius temperatures into Fahrenheit:
1. Begin by multiplying the Celsius temperature by 9.
2. Divide the answer by 5.
3. Now add 32.
